Our working DMF setup uses MXL to connect software-based media functions through an open exchange layer for video, audio, and timed metadata. Combine functions from different vendors, add or replace individual components more easily, and adapt the environment as your requirements change.
This open approach protects your freedom of choice and supports a phased transition. Existing SDI, ST 2110, on-premises, and cloud systems can remain part of the roadmap, helping you protect current investments and avoid the cost and risk of replacing the entire production environment at once.
